....with the days alternating between extreme sunshine and clouds....perhaps I stopped my sunshine therapy too early in the season: 1st of March?

i think the extreme contrast in weather from one day to the next is making things difficult for me too. one day i feel on top of the world....the next i feel like i do in the winter time. i'd appreciate it if we could get a run of a few days of good weather! just to give my mood a bit of consistency!
maybe you should just start your light therapy again....

Yeah, I've gone back to 30 min. of light therapy early in the morning. I'm hoping that helps.

Me too, the contrast in weather makes it difficult. I'm still using my light box, except on the days when it's really sunny and I know I can go for a long walk in it. I'm sure going back to 30 mins will help. Fingers crossed we'll have some consistently good weather soon, roll on Summer!

Ive really sorted 90% of my SAD out this year. Still going strong....

Diet (cut out stuff I was intolerant to) and sugar (keeping my blood sugar levels straight), exercise (lots) and some normal vits and mins, including omega 3 and 6.

After having had SAD for 30+ years, I cant recommend this all highly enough.

If I have a strange day (where I feel tired and sobby inside), I have a Johns Wort (am not having light anymore) and make sure I get some more sleep! - that puts me straight.

Hard to start with, but pays dividends. Lost 1 stone and 3 pounds too!

I found last year that as the weather was so up and down all summer, I had SAD off and on all year. By October, my batteries hadnt been recharged and I was in a terrible state. Now you can see why I sorted myself out.

So dont be fooled into thinking that it is just light that will make you feel better, youve got to work at it too.

Good luck

Just thought that I know that Spring has arrived as Ive started getting my nose bleeds again - bad ones - the little blyters.

Then my youngest child came home from school today with (guess what) A 20 minute nose bleed!

My other child, who also shows mild symtoms of SAD, gets nose bleeds when the sun starts shining brightly and he has been over excited.

Very strange. Perhaps a synchronised manic phase has began!!
Oh, the fun in our house!!

I seem to get it at the end of the winter months and when under stress.
