Ok, folks... I have fibromyalgia and I do believe I also have SAD. Up until this point, I've just accepted that I have SAD, but I know fibromyalgia worsens in the winter and gosh, they're so similar.

My doctor has me on Trazadone, just 25mg and 10-20mg of Flexeril to help me sleep at night. I'm expecting I'm going to start dealing with hypersomnia again soon this year and he said that if the Trazadone and Flexeril don't help me out, he's going to switch me from Trazadone to another medication.

He told me my options are:

Lyrica
Nortryptline
Effexor/Cymbalta
Lorezepam (similar but not as strong as Klonopan)

I'd like to hear your experiences with these drugs, good and bad or indifferent. I doubt Lyrica would help SAD. This would be medication I'd take at night-time, so sedating is good as long as I can get up in the morning. Anything that disrupts sleep is NOT GOOD.

Please, let me know what experiences you've had. It would be a great help. Thank you!
